Padukone is of Mangalorean roots and is fluent in Konkani as her primary language. Padukone Village is situated within Kundapura Taluk within the Udupi District in Karnataka within India. The father of her, Prakash Padukone, is an old badminton player who is of world-class fame, while her mother is a travel agent.
